Thank you all for coming to our first event in the Spring semester: FORMOSA. This year's theme was Lantern Festival, and we hope you enjoyed the show!
For some of you who could not make it to the event. Here is a little introduction about what Lantern Festival is. Lantern Festival marks the last day of New Year celebration on the lunar calendar, commemorating "the declining darkness of winter". The festival has always been a celebration of hope, love, and joy for a new year. We celebrate lantern festival not only with hanging lanterns, but also with the famous - sky lanterns! People celebrate by writing their wishes on sky lanterns, launching it up to the sky hoping that their new year wishes will be granted.

A huge thank you to PennYo (premier Chinese a cappella group at the University of Pennsylvania), and Asian Music Production from Berklee College of Music, and our very own Brandeis songwriter Ernest Ling for making our event memorable and successful.
