Due to safety reasons on campus, we were not able to light the large sky lanterns. As an alternative, we had a chill, simple lantern decorating session with some tang hu lu and boba milk tea! The amazingly simple effects of christmas lights! Thank you to everyone who came :)

TSA volunteered in Waltham Group's Stanley Family Night event. There were lots of games and arts and crafts stations set up for kids to play and enjoy. We presented the CHOPSTICK DROP game! It was great seeing kids, parents and college students all having a fun night.
There was nothing to do on Saturday night...so we all headed to Wellesley's Nightmarket!!! We had tons of yummy food (a bit of A LOT) and Lee Hom Wang's concert music was projected above us. There was a big turn out and it was nice to see other TSA/TCOs from other schools.
Tonight around 20-30 students showed up tonight at the ICC to make teams, test their skills and indulge in their Taipei 101 gingerbread skyscraper! Lots of gram crackers, icing and candy AND yumminess afterwards :D
Lots of people and lines but AWEEESOMEE mingling, food and games!! It was also great seeing other TSA/TCO fellows from Thank you Boston University for such a great Night market event on a Friday night!
This year, four Eboard members attended the ITASA Conference in New York City. The theme this year was "Igniting Infinite Possibilities" and took place on the top floor of Hotel Pennsylvania (Feb 14-17). There were around 200 plus students from schools all around the East Coast and a few who traveled from the mid-west and west coast. We were very glad to be a part of this great event and spend our weekend in the great city! There were lots of workshops (with lots of alums who were involved in ITASA), ice breakers, mingling/networking and exploring of the city. I had a great time at ITASA meeting and having fun with other people from Taiwanese Student groups all over the country. We were able to make great connections with Taiwanese student groups from nearby colleges and look forward to strengthening our intercollegiate relations - Aaron Yang '14 ITASA definitely brought Brandeis' eboard a lot closer together. The workshops were enlightening and really made me realize how proud I should be to be Taiwanese—I seriously had no idea how prominent we are in various industries! Branching out was definitely a plus, but I gotta say... the highlight of the trip would be just having the opportunity to explore an unfamiliar city late at night with my peers and simply bonding in our hotel rooms while munching on NYC’s infamous chicken over rice. - Jes Lin '15 ITASA has been an amazing experience to connect with other Taiwanese Student Associations. Also, Brandeis TSA bonded closer through exploring the city. Besides the socializing aspects, many speakers also gave interesting talks on topics ranging from social justice to starting businesses. Overall, NYC is a very dynamic city full of new energy and wonderful adventures! - Eric Lin '16 Our first event of the semester took place tonight! Thanks to those who were interested and signed up to be a part of our Cultural X Dance - its going to be fun! We hope everyone also enjoyed the oolong tea and scallion pancakes (Thank you Anita!).
Kicking off the new semester/new year by trying to promote our club at the Club Fair on this lovely Sunday! Thank you for those interested in our club and joining our listserv :) We will be having a lot of fun together this semester!
Tonight was basically our second general meeting. We met up in the ICC to play a quick ice breaker and give our members updates on upcoming events. Our chosen breakfast was congee with many side dishes. Photo (c) Danni Ma
Today a few of us went to Diversity Week in the ICC to show children how to make lanterns! We showed them the Taiwanese paper lanterns that are put into the sky but we went with simple paper lanterns due to fire hazards.
